Four charged with criminal damage after 20 cars were left covered in paint in Herne Bay


Four teenagers have been charged with criminal damage after a spree of vandalism that left 20 cars covered in paint in Herne Bay.
Parked cars in streets from Kings Road to Margate Road, Kings Road to Schools Lane, were all targeted between July 4 and July 17 this year.
Police arrested five people and four of them were charged with criminal damage yesterday evening (November 9).
These comprised Jesse Bath, 19, of Beaumont Street in Herne Bay, 18-year-old Luke Loxston, of Sea Street in Herne Bay, Amy Maria Summerson, 18, of Ross Gardens, Rough Common in Canterbury and 18-year-old Kayleigh White, of Gordon Road in Herne Bay.

All four teens have been bailed to appear at Channel Magistrates' Court in Folkestone at 2pm on December 14.
An 18-year-old man from the Herne Bay area who was arrested on suspicion of causing criminal damage has been released without charge.
